Elizabeth Warren Blasts Republicans 'Gutting' Ethics Office

Source: Patch

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren unleashed a firestorm of criticism following news Monday night that Republicans in the House have moved to limit the powers of an independent ethics office, putting more power in lawmakers' hands.

Although top Republicans, including House Speaker Paul Ryan, have said they oppose curtailing the office's powers, Warren was speaking to the entire "@GOP," as she tweeted: "Tell us, (GOP): Who, exactly, thinks that the problem with Washington is that we have too many rules requiring the (government) to act ethically?"

She framed the problem and called them on their anti-government ideology all in one tweet.

"The government is evil so let's not watch the ethics of governing" is what they're saying.

Go Lizzie!

shitless of experienced, strong, focused and intelligent women.
This has never become clearer since the election of and braindead enabling of a hideously imbalanced, morally deficient, pathologically narcissist thug Cretin with no character or soul.
Destroying the country, to them, is far better than ever having a qualified, forceful woman in/with power.
The GOP has already invalidated ethics a hundred times over and will continue to obliterate integrity, fairness, truth.
Elizabeth will be ignored.

The GOP swamp dwellers, if I had to guess. It's priority one, if they are to accomplish "their agenda" on America.
