WikiLeaks: Send us Trump's tax returns so we can release them
Source: The Hill
WikiLeaks on Sunday urged people to submit President Donald Trump's tax returns so the organization could release them.
"Trump Counselor Kellyanne Conway stated today that Trump will not release his tax returns," WikiLeaks posted on Twitter.
"Send them to: https://wikileaks.org/#submit so we can."

WikiLeaks also blasted the president for declining to release his tax returns himself.

More posturing by Assange? Or is it possible he's seeing Trump/Putin reneging on some promises to him?

By the time Assange was done editing it, Trump would look like Mother Teresa.

(12,221 posts)Maybe the tiny inauguration crowd versus the HUGE numbers protesting the asshole, didn't go over well with Putin.
Maybe this Wikileaks message is a prelude to releasing fake tax documents that they have set to release.

If they are sitting on some bad shit in those files - well, that opens a whole new can of worms.

(21,088 posts)It's like the furor over Trump being a liar. All of Trump's PR fiascos are being used just like smokescreens or radar jamming in war, to hide the movement of the main battle force. Anything that deflects attention onto a PR problem distracts us and helps to hide the real maneuvers that are under way.
To the extent that Wikileaks participates they are acting in support of the smokescreen, not on behalf of the people.

(21,088 posts)It's the FBI. That's where the real action is. If this case is resolved as it should, it's not going to be tried in the court of public opinion. IMO the noise about public release is just a a fuss. The real players aren't saying anything at all.

Assange is despicable; works for Putin and Russia, and is expecting great things for himself from Trump.

(1,570 posts)In 2 or 3 weeks WikiLeaks releases a set of "taxes" that shows Donald is a billionaire, pays a lot in taxes and gives millions to charity. Donald in turn both gets the scandle off his back and gets to rail against the left wing politicized IRS. Finally, Assange either gets asylum in the US or found dead in his room at the Ecuadorian embassy.
Only time will tell.

As stated elsewhere don't be surprised if RasPutin and TrumpenFuhrer give their okey dokey to Britain invoking the Diplomatic Premises Act to enter the Ecuadorian embassy and grabbing Assange.
