Miami-Dade Will Comply With Trump's Sanctuary-City Ban Despite Gigantic Population of Immigrants

Gimenez signed an order today demanding that Miami-Dade County's Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation comply with every aspect of Trump's plan.

"Yesterday, January 25, 2017, President Donald J. Trump issued Executive Order: Enhancing Public Safety in the Interior of the United States," Gimenez wrote to Daniel Junior, the county's interim corrections director. "In light of the provisions of the Executive Order, I direct you and your staff to honor all immigration detainer requests received from the Department of Homeland Security."

I was surprised Miami was a sanctuary city in first place (despite its' large immigrant population), but this mayor's reaction is to be expected in FL.

Same day as this intolerant and racist act of hate didn´t Trump the Impaler call for love and tolerance in another statement regarding the Holocaust? The hypocrisy is monumental.

are dependent on these fla universities to keep broadcasting sports on them so they can use the association to attract advertisers

Miami caves. Yes the did. That means giving in. Doesn't the Jewish population of So Florida feel bad about people being ripped from their homes? Where are people's history in their hearts? Why do they vote Republicon? Is the population smaller than I thought? People are so disappointing. What about all the hispanic population-are they going to rip children from their beds? That is where I would draw the line and fight. Like hiding Jews in the basement. It seems the same to me. There is one side of history you can be on. You can't be on both sides.
