Jeff Sessions staff, feds not saying who asked research site to take down his information

Source: AL.com

A trove of information about Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, President Donald Trump's controversial nominee for U.S. Attorney General, disappeared from a popular online research service within the past two weeks.

As of Jan. 17, extensive personal, professional and financial details about Sessions, his family and his properties were available via subscribers-only sections of the LexisNexis website.

But by Jan. 25, nearly every mention of Sessions was scrubbed from the site. It is not clear on what day exactly the information was removed, but it happened within five days of Trump's inauguration on Jan. 20.

Yet extensive information about Trump himself remains posted on the site, as does information about a number of his cabinet nominees, including Secretary of State nominee Rex Tillerson, Navy Secretary nominee Philip Bilden and Ben Carson, Trump's Housing and Urban Development Secretary nominee. Carson was once a leading presidential primary contender, and was subject to significant security measures during the 2016 campaign.

Wow, they scrubbed his bio from LexisNexis. I was wondering why it was so difficult to get career details when I was searching this afternoon. The online reputation scrubbers have been working overtime on this one too. All the articles that come to the top of a search are about how he is a great champion of civil rights 😂

I am SO SICK of getting played by all this political propaganda. It's exhasting to have to look at every tiny detail to decide if Putin or Bannon or whoever is playing our sources. If they can secretly force LexisNexis scrub his bio, then we are getting played on this guy, bigly.

Stephen Miller, the other shadow president, is his protege. He and Bannon are working their propaganda dark arts overtime behind the scenes. What chit do you even need to have to get LexisNexis to scrub your info?

They want to make him look like a sweet grandpa, but he will crack down so hard on voting rights and civil rights, we will hear the bones break.

I am not generally into purity tests, but any Dem who supports this one will feel my ire.
