Creative Creations owner gets 63 months in federal prison in travel vouchers case

By Janice Podsada

A federal judge on Monday sentenced Patricia Urbanovsky, owner of an Omaha event-planning business, to 63 months in federal prison and ordered her to pay nearly $4.7 million in restitution in connection with the sale of thousands of worthless airline flight vouchers.

At a sentencing and restitution hearing Monday in federal court, U.S. Judge Joseph Bataillon accepted the plea agreement Urbanovsky brokered with federal prosecutors in September. He sentenced her for 16 counts of wire fraud.

Urbanovsky was originally charged with 16 counts of wire fraud and nine counts of money laundering and faced up to 365 years behind bars. Under the plea agreement, she pleaded guilty to only the wire fraud charges.

Urbanovsky sold thousands of worthless flight vouchers through her business, Creative Creations.

She got $ from all 50 states. Stole from her employees etc. Violated her bail terms drinking and knowingly using a bogus charge card in the bar.

Her wedding business ruined many weddings also.

How is she going to pay $4.7 million in restitution?

"Robbery of a 7-11" statute. They always go to jail. Had she been a politician, or a lobbyist, her chances of avoiding jail would be much better.
