PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP NAMES DANA BOENTE AS ACTING ATTORNEY GENERAL

Source: KGO-TV

President Donald Trump on Monday fired Sally Yates, the acting attorney general and a Democratic appointee, after she refused to defend in court his controversial refugee and immigration ban.

The extraordinary public clash over Trump's most consequential policy decision to date laid bare the discord and dissent surrounding the executive order, which temporarily halted the entire U.S. refugee program and banned all entries from seven Muslim-majority nations for 90 days.

In 1982, he began his career as a law clerk for Chief U.S. District Judge J. Waldo Ackerman for the Central District of Illinois. Several years later, in 1984, he joined the Tax Division’s Criminal Section as part of the Attorney General’s Honors Program. Boente became an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Fraud Unit of EDVA in 2001.

In December 2012, Boente was appointed by Attorney General Eric Holder to serve as the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Louisiana, a position he held until September 2013. He became the Acting U.S. Attorney for EDVA by virtue of the Vacancy Reform Act on September 23, 2013, and served in that position until December 15, 2015. In this role, he was involved in the sentencing of former Virginia governor Bob McDonnell. He stated that "No one is above the law... not a high public official, not even the highest public official in (Virginia)."

He was nominated by President Barack Obama on October 8, 2015, and confirmed by the United States Senate on December 15, 2015, as the 60th U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia (EDVA) and was appointed by President Donald Trump as Acting Attorney General on January 30, 2017, after Acting Attorney General Sally Yates was fired by Trump earlier that day. -- Wikipedia

Agree to defend this, and write the biggest horseshit "defense" he can come up with to assure that no court anywhere will uphold Trump's order. Throw in enough legalese so the morons in Trump's inner circle won't know that they've been conned.

That's what a true patriot would do, now that we've seen speaking truth just gets you fired. So pretend to go along, and sabotage from within. So maybe his career will be over, but I'm sure there are many grateful Americans who would see that he's taken care of if he gets this unconstitutional order destroyed.
