EU chief puts Trump administration in 'threat' category — with China, Russia, radical Islam, war and terror

BRUSSELS — The leader of the European Union put longtime ally the United States in a “threat” category on Tuesday, insisting that President Donald Trump is contributing to the “highly unpredictable” outlook for the bloc.

In a letter to 27 EU leaders before Friday’s summit in Malta, EU President Donald Tusk mentioned the Trump administration as part of an external “threat” together with China, Russia, radical Islam, war and terror.

Echoing statements from many European capitals, he said that those global challenges, “as well as worrying declarations by the new American administration, all make our future highly unpredictable.”

He said that “particularly the change in Washington puts the European Union in a difficult situation; with the new administration seeming to put into question the last 70 years of American foreign policy.”

Before Trump, the international community "didn't respect us." He's making America great again.

The whole world is watching, and 'likely' the trump administration doesn't care.

OR financially.

Haven't we heard the whining of Wall Street about the "uncertainty!!!" "Oh, the uncertainty!" Hey, we LIVE with uncertainty.

But you CAN contain it. Shape it. Prepare for it. Try to anticipate manage variables that come up, and as with a chess game, try always to think three steps ahead.

But For Pete's Sake, you don't see a fire burning and throw fucking GASOLINE on it!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if the "worst trading day of the new year" just a few days ago is because of him. He did say he wanted to be unpredictable. But we can't afford to play so close to the edge like you can when you play hardball negotiator in a business deal. This is governing. This is not just politics, it's GEOpolitics. The world is watching and reacts and THAT makes a BIG difference. We don't operate in a vacuum.

I don't think trump understands this. He's operating in his own little world.

My sister and I had been planning a trip to the British Isles. Obviously our pleasure trip is small potatoes in the scheme of all the upheaval and disruption this administration is determined to cause, but it just goes to show that the ramifications of the things this administration does are going to reach into every aspect of peoples' daily lives. Americans aren't going to want to travel out of the country, partly because we'll be pariahs, but also because what if we have to worry about being let back in?

book " The Shock Doctrine " . Basically destroy all public institutions as quick as possible before the people
have a chance to revolt and then privatize everything and sell off to the Billionaires for their profit . America will be a
third world banana republic very soon .

Trump does not have a clue about AI and its impending effects on white collar jobs as well as continuing effects on blue collar jobs.

Trump thinks that America's future lies in coal.
