Report: Feds Weigh Child-Porn Charges Against Anthony Weiner

Federal prosecutors are considering child-pornography charges against Anthony Weiner, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday. The news comes according to sources familiar with the FBI and Manhattan U.S. attorney’s investigation into allegations the former Democratic congressman had exchanged sexually explicit messages with a 15-year-old girl. The Journal reported that Weiner’s lawyers have met with prosecutors and have attempted to dissuade them from bringing child-porn charges, which carry a 15-year mandatory minimum prison sentence. This latest probe into Weiner’s sexting habits had a drastic effect on the 2016 presidential race, with FBI chief James Comey announcing mere weeks before Election Day that agents had found a laptop used by Weiner, containing emails potentially related to the probe of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

I know that the GOP could care less about what year did with kids; half of them probably make Tony Weiner look like an amateur. The GOP was certainly willing to go ahead and forgive the Duggar's sex offenses because they still want to sell this ideal man is dominant, woman is the machine narrative.

But all I can say is this, considering the harm he has done the party, considering the harm he did well before the election, I personally go Tony Weiner gets sent to jail and has is dying breath behind bars. Yes I know, James call me was a crook, and find my way, he would be Tony's cellmate in Leavenworth. The Tony Weiner showed that he just did not give a damn about who he hurt, in his personal life, or his nation.

Of course I couple this with the wish that their other cellmate is someone else bragged about being a rapist, one Donald J Trump.

It may or may not matter under the law if he knew the recipient was under age. Statutory rape generally does not have an "I thought she was eighteen" safe harbor because every defendant would lie about that.

Let me get more info before I lower the boom.
