The president is disappointed in Spicer's performance thus far, the network reports, citing a source familiar with internal communications.

The CNN report saying Trump was unhappy with Spicer said the president blames Priebus for pushing for Spicer for the job.

(6,143 posts)Unless I am just "out of it" (which is quite possible). I don't see Bannon giving public statements, appearances, interviews; I don't even know what his voice sounds like. So Rosie may do a bang-up job but it may just go over the heads of the general public.
Spicer obviously is out in front every day so McCarthy's send-up was hysterical.

Uch - doesn't matter. He's not dumping Bannon. Bannon is the one who has T wrapped up in 'The Movement' fantasy - and Bannon knows where all the bodies are buried.

The obvious difference being, of course, that while Trump is turning the White House into a racket, FDR was busy saving his nation from Andrew Mellon's "liquidate everyone" depression and the world from fascism.
I'd say FDR was entitled to a little, ahem, hand now and then.

Of course, in a system where the President really does have a lot of power and autonomy, the whole scheme can quickly turn into a disaster. As we're seeing.
