'You don't get to tell us what to do': Fox News anchor confronts Reince Priebus over Trump's media c

Fox News anchor Chris Wallace pressed President Donald Trump's chief of staff, Reince Priebus, to explain why the president characterized the media as the "enemy of the American people."

In an interview on "Fox News Sunday," Wallace asked Priebus if Trump believes that "a free and independent press is a threat to the country."

Priebus attempted to soften Trump's claim, saying the president was referring to reports that members of Trump's presidential campaign communicated with Russian intelligence officials during the campaign.

"There are certain things that are happening in the news that just aren't honest. We're not talking about everyone, Chris. We're not talking about all news. We are talking about something he's termed as fake news," Priebus said.

Authoritarians love to tell people what to do, and RWAF love to be told and then do.

Prince Rebus is revealing his authoritarian heart, but that is no surprise since he signed up to fine tune tRump's authoritarian machine.

Well, Fox news is infact an enemy of the people. Their viewers in particular because they care more about spewing nonsense rather than facts leaving their watchers woefully in the dark about most things not related race baiting and looking down on the poor.

We don't like the spin and opinion Fox News lays out.

You and I don't represent ALL the American people and the promotion of worldwide democracy and the ideal of a free press - free to say even things that annoy us and we find deeply offensive.

This is what the Corrupt One is opposing - and it is unique to presidents who find themselves in deep trouble!

They were burned a couple of times in the past 20 years, you won't see them getting burned again.

republicans said the same thing about the Pentagon Papers, but when it all shook out, the Times (and Washington Post, they collaborated with them) story was proven to be true.

Obama never feared fox. Please, he went out of his way to engage them. I would have kicked them out of my office, which is why Obama is a nicer person then me.

..... "I think you should be concerned about mainstream news outlets that are acting like Washington daily gossip magazines," Priebus replied.

Though media criticism was a staple of his presidential campaign, Trump has ratcheted up his attacks on many established outlets of late, singling out CNN, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times for publishing negative reports about his White House, often relying on anonymous sources.

President Obama "whined about fox".. that's rich. Damn originator of fake news. And, trump never complains about fox anyway.. nice of Wallace to jump in there.

"@ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!"

Notice he doesn't tweet that Fake New fox is the enemy.

trump never has anything negative to say about the most fake news on the Planet.

I'm surprised more aren't talking about this little detail.. it's so glaring
