The Senate is investigating Russian hacking and theyve asked agencies to keep everything they find

WASHINGTON (AP) The Senate intelligence committee has sent formal requests to more than a dozen organizations, agencies and individuals, asking them to preserve all materials related to a probe the panel is conducting on Russian interference in the 2016 election and related issues, a congressional aide said Saturday.

The committee chairman, Sen. Richard Burr, R-N.C., and its vice chairman, Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., sent letters out on Friday the same day committee members received a classified briefing from FBI Director James Comey. Committee members declined to comment on what was discussed after the more than hourlong briefing. The aide was not authorized to discuss the issue and spoke only on condition of anonymity

On Thursday, Senate Democrats wrote the White House and law enforcement agencies seeking assurances that they were preserving all materials related to contacts individuals associated with President Donald Trump had with Russians.

Those letters asked for confirmation that the White House, FBI and Justice Department had instructed their employees to preserve all materials related to any contacts Trump's administration, campaign, transition team or anyone acting on their behalf have had with Russian government officials or its associates.

Those files are now deleted and the hard drives are already been dropped in the ocean. There has been a major destruction of those materials.

Still, if they hack the recipient accounts, they could be sunk

Our taxpayer-funded backup system: NSA.

Remember Cheney's Energy Task Force emails and phone calls that were magically lost? They are well stored at Ft. Meade and in Utah.

Wonder why the congress or taxpayers can't have access to this "wayback" information? Me too. If anyone has dirt on the rest of the world and the US ....

or at least enough to put together a pretty good picture. Wouldn't it be ironic if NSA's stretching the Patriot Act to the limit does in twitler and his Repub cohorts? Those Repubs just love that Patriot Act, they do.

even though Rep. Devin Nunez (R-CA),the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, announced last month that the committee would investigate Russian attempts to influence the 2016 elections, and communications between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Kasich just said it has to be investigated, the senate is investigating, the Republicans in the meeting with Comey are not coming out and saying, "Nothing to see here, move along."

Miller and Bannon most likely will ignore any request saying they don't have to follow the request because DJT is the boss of all.
