Washington -- President Donald Trump, who vowed to "drain the swamp in Washington," funded his transition in part with money from the same special interests he railed against.
"We will not answer to donors or lobbyists or special interests," Trump said Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

Akin Gump was paid $35.9 million to lobby by such clients as Amazon.com; Caesars Entertainment, which owns casinos in Atlantic City; and Pfizer.
