Schwarzenegger Fires The Apprentice

Source: Empire Online

Fans of Celebrity Apprentice are about to lose the show's biggest asset as Arnold Schwarzenegger will not be returning to host another season of the show. "I learned a lot, I had a great time, it was a really great opportunity," Schwarzenegger said, speaking exclusively to Empire. "But under the circumstances I don't want to do it again."

Talking to Schwarzenegger about his role in upcoming drama Aftermath, Empire mentioned the ailing reality show and a recent report by The Wrap that both viewers and sponsors have been departing in droves. Schwarzenegger confirmed the story and claimed that Donald Trump is to blame.

"It's not about the show," he explained. "because everyone I ran into came up to me and said 'I love the show... but I turned it off because as soon as I read Trump's name I'm outta there!'"

"NBC did everything they could to promote the show and (producer) Mark Burnett did a fantastic job. No one really knew that this was going to happen and I think that everyone was caught off guard."

Didn't want to settle the writers strike! And here we are, with a generation learning it pays to be an asshole and make a spectacle of yourself. It's mind numbing garbage.

my feelings exactly. What dupes Americans can be watching all this garbage and wasting their lives away.

I remember when OC Choppers first came on and I said, "What an awful show about a father who treats his sons like a piece of dog crap. Who watches this crap?" I think my answer is "trump voters".

Anyone can be "a star" and that being a hot mess is a viable life strategy because people will pay to gawk at you- especially if you are a big asshole.

I kinda feel sorry for Ah-nold. Even after his Republican governorship and that silly speech at a Dubya's second convention about Dems being "girlie men". Or maybe its just karma.

I think its also that Trump insisted that Arnold be fired after that brilliant response he did to Donald about his ratings being bad. I think he spoke for everyone there when he ended it with 'and we can finally sleep comfortably at night'. Yes even with the terminator in charge it would be 100% better.

Dude came to the US with nothing, speaking almost no English. He really is a successful businessman compared to the 100% phony Donald Trump.

It's way past time that "reality TV" died. I am hoping that the continued success of streaming options eventually kills that shit.

humiliate an pit them against each other, throw in false rumors to stir up hostility, be a big bully and yell in their faces, embarrass them, have absolute authority so no one questions you, stage a good wrestling
Match, & make lots and lots of money for that behavior.
God, no wonder the wacko Repubs love him, and his base is wacko.

What a hero. Maybe he should be President!

Where every season Cheetolini fires someone from his staff or cabinet.

This could have a weekly firing at the rate this administration is going.

It started in 2004. Thanks to a useless Republican president, the economy was shedding jobs at a record rate. So what's the worthless piece of shit who's now a hazardous Republican president do? "Hi Mr. Burnett, I have an idea for a yooge new reality show. It'll be all about me firing people."

And the SNL folks could take turns firing people.

If you've seen those KFC commercials, someone different plays Colonel Sanders regularly. Similar to that, someone different with puckered lips, an orangish wig, and a fake partially applied tan asks people questions about their performance in random tasks.

They could take turns greasing their hair back and pretending they're rich like Don Jr, and be all snooty like Ivanka.

Fun for the whole family. They could get some of the people in hoarders and wife swap to play Trump too.
