During an interview with Fox News' Tucker Carlson on Wednesday, President Donald Trump signaled that the Republican bill to repeal and replace Obamacare is not in its final form, admitting that the current legislation does not favor the voters who elected Trump.
Carlson told Trump that one analysis by Bloomberg News showed that tax cuts in the House bill unveiled last week would benefit people in counties that voted for Hillary Clinton, not those in counties that voted for Trump.
"I know that, I know, Trump replied. Its very preliminary.
"This isnt consistent with the message of the last election, Carlson told Trump.
"No, a lot of things arent consistent, Trump replied.

(6,932 posts)Your numbers are dropping like a rock even over on RW polling sites like Rasmussen. They've played the "prop up your numbers" game as long as they can. DOWN about 4% in just EIGHT days. That might be a record.

Keeping in mind Rasmussen's 15-point bias toward Republicans, this is bad news for Agent Orange:

(23,155 posts)He wants to keep everyone confused as to him real aims to sow the utmost in chaos and confusion, just like he did with the first travel ban. That's also the reason he wants to go back to it, he reveled in the stories of brown people being hurt and wants more of them.
Don't know what would happen if he does take this to the SCOTUS, but think and hope there's a good chance he'd lose with his puppet there.

As long as his supporters think his actions will hurt people of color worse than it will hurt them, they will stay on board.

(13,616 posts)is unable to make things look good for the GOP, you know things of gone from bad to worse. Of course, Tucker doesn't realize that he is also on the list of disposable heroes that Trump and Bannon, and to be extent that he gets any decision-making, Mr. pence, plan to screw over. All those warhorses are going to go ahead and cry when they realize they are not going to be put out to pasture, but instead boiled into glue.
However we still need to fight, because as much is the thought of Trump voters getting screwed is satisfying, we know they will not get to them until they have screwed us.
