Kochs to withhold millions for health care 'yes' votes

Source: CNN

Washington (CNN)In a last-minute effort to sink the Republican health care bill, a powerful network of conservative donors said Wednesday it would create a new fund for Republican 2018 reelection races -- but they'll only open it up to GOPers who vote against the bill.

The advocacy groups helmed by Charles and David Koch have unveiled a new pool of money for advertisements, field programs and mailings that would exclude those who vote for the health care bill they oppose on Thursday. The effort, which they described as worth millions of dollars, is an explicit warning to on-the-fence Republicans from one of the most influential players in electoral politics not to cross them.

The Koch-aligned networks oppose the bill because they think it does not do enough to scale back former President Barack Obama's health care policies.

"We want to make certain that lawmakers understand the policy consequences of voting for a law that keeps Obamacare intact," Americans for Prosperity president Tim Phillips said. "We have a history of following up and holding politicians accountable, but we will also be there to support and thank the champions who stand strong and keep their promise."

they want to have us really fuckin' dying in the gutters, don't they.

well, at least in the short term it means the bill will lose support, so that's nice.

repeal ACA, their new bill, if any, could potentially see even more people dying than presently forecast and more money for the 1%. These are things that degenerates like the Kochs, Ryans and their ilk live for. The Republican party has become nothing more than a gathering of greedy selfish monsters.

Those bastards will claim a bill is coming,100% better than the ACA but give us some time to work out the details. FOUR years from now people will still be waiting and waiting.

Meanwhile insurance GIANTS like Anthem and Cigna merge as well as Humana and Aetna, making two MEGA insurance companies and eliminating even more companies from all this "choice" BS that Republicans like to spew.

near Detroit and Chicago should go fast after much physical and emotional suffering. No medicine for you! Probably no class action suits either!

I swear, we're going to have to have another cultural revolution in the streets like in the '60's! But the militarized police will just kill the protesters with impunity and then what?

Something's gonna break. Sometime. Somewhere. The people are gonna snap.

Isn't it argued a good bill (and the compromises) leaves both sides a little disappointed?

How bad does a bill have to be when both sides oppose it so much it doesn't stand a chance in hell?
