A huge South Korean cargo ship which had 24 people on board has gone missing in the South Atlantic.
Officials in Seoul said efforts were under way to rescue two sailors found on a life raft, Yonhap news agency reports.
On Friday, a crew member sent a text saying the Stellar Daisy freighter was taking on water.
The Uruguayan navy alerted merchant ships in the area, which began a search.

(17,918 posts)since the Greek and Phoenician traders started plying the eastern Med. And probably long, long before that and continues to this day. Modern container and bulk carriers look huge to us, but are just tiny specs in a vast ocean. Even with today's engineering and technology, there's still numerous combinations of conditions that will sink any ship.
