SAMS CLUB STOPS ADVERTISING ON RUSH LIMBAUGHS SHOW | The flow of advertisers abandoning Rush Limbaugh has slowed to a trickle, but yesterday Sams Club, the wholesale retail chain, announced on social media that they have withdrawn their advertisements. Limbaughs sexist rant against Georgetown graduate student and womens advocate Sandra Fluke prompted at least 40 advertisers to flee from Limbaughs program.

(34,845 posts)Politicians of both parties tend to be cowards and to not make waves. It is businesses who have become the outliers who start the trends. Enough businesses started supporting gay rights that it finally became possible to support them in the political realm, as well.
Now there seems to be a trend for businesses to turn away from Conservative ideology. Like it or not, when big money starts pulling away from Conservatives, it is a sign.
I think the reality of climate change will accelerate the trend toward Democrats.
