SAM’S CLUB STOPS ADVERTISING ON RUSH LIMBAUGH’S SHOW

Source: Think Progress

SAM’S CLUB STOPS ADVERTISING ON RUSH LIMBAUGH’S SHOW | The flow of advertisers abandoning Rush Limbaugh has slowed to a trickle, but yesterday Sam’s Club, the wholesale retail chain, announced on social media that they have withdrawn their advertisements. Limbaugh’s sexist rant against Georgetown graduate student and women’s advocate Sandra Fluke prompted at least 40 advertisers to flee from Limbaugh’s program.

was one for the books. But I bet a sizable majority of his fans took it as gospel.

I have been to the book section of Sams and it is all right wing. Not one middle or left book. Rush must really be on his way out.

Well, they won't sell in regular retail, so bulk bargain basements get them.

Politicians of both parties tend to be cowards and to not make waves. It is businesses who have become the outliers who start the trends. Enough businesses started supporting gay rights that it finally became possible to support them in the political realm, as well.

Now there seems to be a trend for businesses to turn away from Conservative ideology. Like it or not, when big money starts pulling away from Conservatives, it is a sign.

I think the reality of climate change will accelerate the trend toward Democrats.
