Exclusive: Trump says he thought being president would be easier than his old life

Source: Reuters

By Stephen J. Adler, Jeff Mason and Steve Holland | WASHINGTON

.........................

President Donald Trump on Thursday reflected on his first 100 days in office with a wistful look at his life before the White House.

"I loved my previous life. I had so many things going," Trump told Reuters in an interview. "This is more work than in my previous life. I thought it would be easier."

........................

More than five months after his victory and two days shy of the 100-day mark of his presidency, the election is still on Trump's mind. Midway through a discussion about Chinese President Xi Jinping, the president paused to hand out copies of what he said were the latest figures from the 2016 electoral map.

"Here, you can take that, that's the final map of the numbers," the Republican president said from his desk in the Oval Office, handing out maps of the United States with areas he won marked in red. "It’s pretty good, right? The red is obviously us." ............................

There are no words! I just knocked a few people, I have known since grade school, off my fucking, stupid, Facebook. God how I detest Facebook. I am pretty much down to only family members and have knocked a few of them off for insane posts. I do enjoy keeping up with my deceased mother's cousins but that's about it.

My rant is because the last few people had posts that said that most people (like most of America) don't understand the genius of he-who-shall-not-be-named.

Then this crap. Too hard?

he's found a way of digging. That's kind of amazing, actually. He thought the presidency would be LESS work than running his company? He hasn't paid attention to the other 12 guys that's been in the office since he was born? Never even sat down and watched one episode of the West Wing? I wish the jokes had been true, and he had even googled "what does a president do" before he took office. That might of saved us from seeing his ugly face on Inauguration day.
Mr. President, if it gets to be too much, all of us certainly understand. Freedom is just a signature away. No one would blame you. Hell, you could even say that you accomplished everything you wanted to in just 100 days. It's no bigger lie than any other you've told in the last 2 years as a, for lack of a better word, serious candidate. Your followers would applaud, and you could walk out with your head held high and have your health. Yes, we'd be stuck with Pence, and he's just as much of a turd as you. But you don't need the headache. I support your resignation. I'll even buy the pen. It's on me.

"You're really into your own little cocoon, because you have such massive protection that you really can't go anywhere," he said.

He can't go ANYWHERE......except Mar-ma-lado every weekend, except to play golf every week, either in Florida or Virginia. Yes, Mr. Tiny Hands is a prisoner inside the White House. Of course one of his campaign promises WAS not to leave the White House because of the work load he'd have. There would certainly be NO TIME for golf, like that slacker Obama!

I can't tell anymore if his lies are the truth, or of he's lying about his lies. Does that even make any sense? I'm going cross-eyed trying to figure out all of his lies.

All Along the Watchtower
Song by Bob Dylan

There must be some way out of here
Said the joker to the thief
There's too much confusion
I can't get no relief

Businessmen, they drink my wine
Plowmen dig my earth
None of them along the line
Know what any of it is worth

No reason to get excited
The thief he kindly spoke
There are many here among us
Who feel that life is but a joke

But you and I, we've been through that
And this is not our fate
So let us not talk falsely now
The hour is getting late

All along the watchtower
Princes kept the view
While all the women came and went
Barefoot servants, too

Outside in the distance
A wildcat did growl
Two riders were approaching
The wind began to howl

Songwriters: Bob Dylan

His experience is so limited to just pounding his fist on the table, making threats and people doing what he tells them that he can't seem to grasp the notion that it in governing a nation and being a political leader on the world stage that just doesn't work.

I think he believed he could just make demands, bark orders and threaten people and they would do what those in his organization did, carry out his orders.

He may be starting to regret running and I hope to hell he ends up thinking it was the worst decision of his protected, pampered, spoiled life.

I'm sure he really had no idea how hard being president would be. It makes me think about when I was a kid and I asked the adults around me if they wanted to be president, and they all said something "hell no! That's a tough job". I didn't understand that as a kid, but as I got older it became very obviously how difficult being a leader of any nation would be. Every action you take or don't take has huge consequences. That seems like something any rational thinking adult would be able to figure out. What the hell is wrong with Trump?
