Pro-Trump Group Will Play Ad Critical of Comey During His Testimony

Source: CBS News

"Great American Alliance, a group that supports President Trump, released a video critical of former FBI Director James Comey on Tuesday, two days before he testifies in an open session before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

The ad titled "Showboat" accuses Comey of "putting politics over protecting America" and "being consumed with election meddling" last year.

According to a Great American Alliance press release, the 30-second video will move to national television on Thursday as coverage of Comey's testimony surfaces. The ad will also play during the hearing, the statement reads.

The ad will play on Fox News and CNN, according to the Associated Press. And it will be officially released online on Wednesday."

Trump's PR campaign has gotten underway. I saw the first ad on tv earlier this week ("Trump...Making America Great Again&quot . Bizarre.

Now, the PR campaign rolls out despicable anti-Comey ad(s) starting tomorrow, during Comey's testimony. I guess when you don't have the facts on your side, you resort to presenting alternative facts in a PR way, so you can't be questioned.

I feel for Comey. This would be very difficult for anyone, even a former FBI Director.

Who the F is the Great American Alliance? This country is really going off it's rocker. We can't even have an investigation into criminal acts without weirdos making stupid ass videos smearing the witnesses? Is there anything left to be proud of in this society?

now in the limelight working hard to destroy America. It's pretty clear what their agenda is, disrupt and bring the US down as best they can. That, is their agenda and they sugar-coat it with these ads. And mask their behavior by calling themselves patriots, and the gullible people in America fall for it.

In 2016, the Great America PAC was the largest and most effective pro-Trump Super PAC, raising and deploying $30 million in support of the president’s candidacy.

That same team of seasoned professionals now leads Great America Alliance, a 501(c)4 research and issue advocacy organization whose mission is to advocate for a stronger economy, a more secure nation, and a society with less government intrusion and more freedom for American citizens.
To realize President Trump’s promise to “Make America Great Again”, our new effort, the Great America Alliance, will be the largest outside group to support President Trump’s agenda.

In addition to our all-star team of professionals, our key surrogates from the 2016 campaign-Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight and Sheriff David Clarke will continue to play a vital role in our efforts.

Just as we did in 2016, we will utilize every tool from TV, digital and radio ads to social media campaigns and even bus tours that proved to be an essential component in President Trump’s victory.

Our goal now is to build on our previous efforts in support of President Trump’s agenda and other related advocacy efforts.

...for the last few days, with trump and his immigrant wife waving from the door of Air Force One, talking about his "successful" trip last week.

I really don't understand the logic, what are they expecting to accomplish?
