Although he seems genuinely bigoted and xenophobic, he's given no other indication of any real political ideology. He has no idea what a gillnet is and doesn't give a flip about fish one way or the other. He's merely a buffoon, a bundle of I-wants, who learned how to play on populist resentments to draw the biggest, most enthusiastic crowds to feed his need for adulation.

We've got to stop THEM, and we're not going to do that any time soon. Removing him will change none of this with the possible exception of allowing their destruction of government to proceed more efficiently.
