WASHINGTON President Trump, who is awaiting word from the Supreme Court on the fate of his travel ban, paid his first visit to the court on Thursday for a formal ceremony welcoming his appointee, Justice Neil M. Gorsuch.
Mr. Trump has been sharply critical of federal judges, including Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. (an absolute disaster) and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (her mind is shot). He made no public remarks at the court on Thursday, watching the proceedings from a seat reserved for prominent visitors.
Chief Justice Roberts greeted Mr. Trump and his wife, Melania, from the bench. Mr. President, the chief justice said, I extend to you and the first lady a warm welcome.
Justice Gorsuch joined the Supreme Court more than two months ago and has been hard at work. In April, he was an active participant in the current terms final arguments. He issued his first opinion this week, and it was lively, polished and unanimous. ... But one piece of pomp remained: his formal investiture. The proceedings were purely ceremonial, the courts public information office noted, but they were stately and steeped in history.

With the Trumps on hand, Neil Gorsuch officially joins the Supreme Court

Neil M. Gorsuch was officially officially sworn in as the Supreme Courts newest justice Thursday, with President Trump and first lady Melania Trump visiting the court for the first time to witness the investiture of his nominee.
Gorsuch joined the court on April 10, and he already took oaths both at the court and at the White House. But the short and formal investiture follows a historic script, comes before a courtroom filled with family, friends and supporters, and culminates in the public debut of the new justice on the Supreme Courts marble steps.
At the ceremony, the president is seen but not heard, and Trump followed that tradition. The Trumps sat with 97-year-old retired justice John Paul Stevens. But they also met privately with the justices beforehand, and signed the courts visitor book.
....
Then, about the time Trump was arriving back at the White House, Gorsuch and Roberts descended the Supreme Court steps to a waiting group of photographers and tourists gathered on the sidewalk. Gorsuch, wearing a blue suit and rust-colored tie, posed with Roberts, and then was joined by his wife, Louise Gorsuch, who wore bright red and delivered a chaste kiss.

And then other "guy" hypocrite, said yes to a sexual predator to sit on the bench, and even came to the conclusion that it was a-Okay for a truck driver to be fired when he was freezing to death in broken down truck.
