Castro slams Trump's 'hostile rhetoric' toward Cuba

President Trumps Friday speech on Cuba was "loaded with hostile rhetoric that recalls the times of open confrontation, according to a statement released by the Cuban President Raul Castros administration.
Cuba is not happy with Trumps changes to U.S. policy toward the island nation. Trump rolled back several changes that former President Obamas had made in his second term that normalized diplomatic relations with Castro and eased restrictions on travel and trade between the two countries.
The last two years have shown that the two countries can cooperate and coexist in a civilized way, according to Castro.
The statement released through government-run media called for more "respectful dialogue" with the U.S., according to multiple reports.

(67,108 posts)completely wrecking the reputation/image of the US and it well might not be that easy to recover. I read recently even distinguished CEOs, both R&D, think he is a complete loser. Trump, is a global disaster.
