Former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson on Wednesday bluntly shot down any doubts about whether Russia was responsible for the hacking of the Democratic National Committee that was intended to disrupt the 2016 presidential election.

“The Russian government, at the direction of Vladimir Putin himself, orchestrated cyber attacks on our nation for the purpose of influence our election,” he said. “That is a fact, plain and simple.”

President Donald Trump has regularly hedged in public when asked if he believes Russia interfered in the 2016 election. White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer ..............................

Along with Russ Feingold in the US Senate and Merrick Garland should
be sitting on the Supreme Court too.

Fuck those mother fucking republicans that knowingly went along with
this act of war and treason in what was a coup.

to prevent getting fucked. americans only only respond AFTER getting fucked. 45 million fewer voted in 2010 than 2008 allowing these assholes 10 FUCKING YEARS of gerrymandering, etc that we will never recover from!! Who in the fuck doesn't have 2 hours to vote every 2 years??? same thing happened in 2014- 40 million fewer than 2012 and now we are paying the price. we need to wake up the electorate we never lose in high turnout national and blue state wide elections

continue to do until they are caught and prosecuted! I'm mad at the Obama Administration for not screaming this interference before the election. Everyday that goes by with the investigation gathered public cares less and less. I'm furious with Bernie supporters - for not giving up the fight and rallying around HRC - same with the Green voters - look at what has been lost - years of work and effort p$ssed away by this oranges ass. HRC wasn't perfect but no candidate is going to be.

10. plenty of proof .... Carter Page went to Moscow in Dec. 2016
Wed Jun 21, 2017, 12:26 PM

A dossier with unverified claims about President Donald Trump's ties to Russia contained allegations that Igor Sechin, the CEO of Russia's state oil company, offered former Trump ally Carter Page and his associates the brokerage of a 19% stake in the company in exchange for the lifting of US sanctions on Russia.

http://www.businessinsider.com/carter-page-trump-russia-igor-sechin-dossier-2017-1

The end result allowed Russia to trade stolen emails to help to Donald Trump’s election campaign (as well as that of many Republican Congressmen), in exchange for help circumventing American sanctions to transact the sale of Rosneft, which Putin desperately needed to finance his budget deficit.
The Rosneft transaction also purportedly sent a $500 million dollar brokerage fee to Carter Page, or perhaps the Trump Organization.
The Trump Campaign would’ve been extremely familiar with Rosneft, since top surrogate Rudy Giuliani listed the Russian oil giant as one of his law clients at Bracewell & Giuliani, LLP in 2014 according to Bloomberg.

Shiff himself said that the votes were not hacked, so does this mean that the Russians first wrote, then planted and then stole the emails that Democrats are claiming influenced the stupid Americans who were so easily swayed not to support HRC?

That article says they attempted to alter, not that they successfully altered votes or databases. That coincides with Shiff's statement that the elections themselves were not hacked. I'm still left confused as to what exactly occurred that caused HRC to lose.

in exchange for help winning the election. When Flynn made those5 calls in one day to Russia, after the sanctions, that was for settlement negotiations, to wind up the details. That's how it is done when settlements are being completed.

Now, the Russians buzzing our planes and such is a message to DT, IMHO, do what you said. So, DT comes.out after that, yesterday, with we need to hurry and roll back the sanctions.

All the pretend acrimony between DT & Putin for awhile was because they both understood they need to put up that face. Both of their countries are upset.

There is so much more evidence. The dots are being connected. Then, the question arises to, given that Repubs firmly control everything, who will really give a fuck anyway...especially if he has repealed Obamacare & gotten his tax cuts. As one Repub financial guy put it, when asked why the market Volititility wasn't off the charts w all of this, as it normally would be with a fraction of the DT news, "The worst that can happen is we get Mike Pence, and that might be even better. Also, it's the new normal."

...and it means you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.

Cheeto is on tape promising Putin if he gets elected he'll remove the US sanctions against Russia. (Quid Pro Quo) Also he changed the wording on the Republican Party platform - this goes back to last summer - and removed the promise to give arms to the Ukraine to fight against Russia.

Plus his own son-in-law is his bagman, what more do we need? The feds have proof that Trump laundered money for the Russian mafia in his casinos. This guy is dirty 6 ways to Sunday.

I don't even care about the hookers, and I hope he got the clap.

need to do something about it.

Problem is if we take it back somehow, that will be war and that is EXACTLY what Putin wants.

What the idiots who vote for Trump dont understand, is Putin wants their homes, their cars, their life savings, not to mention he will take ALL of the Medicare and Social Security money on day one.

What these dumb fuckers who vote GOP dont understand is Putin hates them just as much as he hates us patriots.

GOP could become patriotic by simply saying they oppose Putin and his stealing of our elections. I wish the GOP would do that, it would make me want to shake their hands.
