Police Forcibly Remove Health Care Bill Protesters Outside Mitch McConnells Office
Source: Huffington Post
Capitol Police forcibly removed protesters gathered outside Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnells office on Thursday, with at least one photo showing drops of blood on the hallway floor.
The crowd was protesting the health care bill that Senate Republicans had written in secret at McConnells direction. Judging by photos and video from reporters, the senators staffers didnt appreciate their presence.

(17,027 posts)unless there is a total revolution, he'll get health care. I'd say he's sick, but he's just an elitist hog.

(15,805 posts)The GOP is doing a terrible (and I mean that in a good way for Dems!) job at managing the rollout of their prized healthcare bill. They had to know what was coming and should have been prepared to manage the blowback. Yet it appears that isn't the case, so I can only conclude that Republicans simply don't give a fuck what anyone else thinks, and they don't believe they will suffer any negative consequences in the long run.
Look at what's happening; we're getting cruel and heartless pictures of disabled Americans being arrested and manhandle out off the government offices they pay for. We have a hidden press meeting with no video or audio to hide the harsh questions from reporters trying to shine light on what Republicans have done. Republicans have largely gone to ground and locked themselves away from the press corps because they can't withstand the public scrutiny.

That will--if it ever happens--be a turning point.
