Trump claims Obama 'colluded' on Russia, without citing evidence

Source: ABC News

President Donald Trump said this morning that his predecessor Barack Obama "colluded or obstructed" in regards to Russian interference in the U.S. election.

"The reason that President Obama did NOTHING about Russia after being notified by the CIA of meddling is that he expected Clinton would win and did not want to 'rock the boat.' He didn't 'choke,' he colluded or obstructed, and it did the Dems and Crooked Hillary no good," Trump wrote in two tweets.

"The real story is that President Obama did NOTHING after being informed in August about Russian meddling. With 4 months looking at Russia.....under a magnifying glass, they have zero "tapes" of T people colluding. There is no collusion & no obstruction. I should be given apology!" he continued.

Trump did not give evidence of Obama's alleged collusion or obstruction.

Of course, Trump denied there was any Russian conclusion even though he had access to the same intelligence, and Republicans opposed any action arguing that a Presidential response would be worse.

1. I wonder when PBO

will tire of turning the other cheek. I remember his speech in the Rose Garden after the election when he told us everything "would be okay". He reminded me of a father talking to his frightened children. Little did we know it would be as bad as it is and getting worse by the hour. My hope is that the trail of bread crumbs he and his staff left is enough. I miss you PBO.

As Trump well knows. But what are the facts.

At the time the Russian interference in our election story broke Trump was already receiving intelligence briefings and what was he saying back then. He was saying "wouldn't it be nice if we got along with Russia" and "it (the hacking) could have been anybody. It could have been Russia or China or anybody. It could have been some 400 pound guy sitting on his bed". Michael Flynn was his chief intelligence advisor at the time too and Trump was claiming that he had better intelligence than the CIA and other government agencies. Trump did worse than NOTHING, he pushed back against Russia being the source for the hacking of our election. With that as the background is there any wonder on why Trump has gone on the offense. He simply can't defend his own actions. Would love to hear Joe Biden on this.

7. He's trying to destroy any meaning in any news report by throwing around the language

that describes what he and his people did, without any concern as to its meaning or applicability. He wants to be able to say "obstruction? Everyone does that. Who cares?"

BO should have said something, anything, like um, don't believe the fake news...that would have been all he needed to say at that point. No, HRC is not dying, no there is no pizza gate, etc. etc. but the fact of the matter is his supporters would not have cared. Their hate runs deep, far and wide, right to the Kremlin's door. To them, Putin is a national hero because they stopped the bitch from getting in the Whitehouse and are able to destroy the black guy's accomplishments. Our country, our democracy is over as we know it. No more going high, time to get down in the dirt and fight back, even with lies. The truth does not matter any longer. The truth is an inconvenience to the hateful Trumpsters.

Psychological projection: Psychological projection is a theory in psychology in which humans defend themselves against their own unconscious impulses or qualities (both positive and negative) by denying their existence in themselves while attributing them to others.
