Where were their permits for a march involving torches and trying to intimidate people gathered in a church during prayers. Not only did they put the neighborhoods in danger but the church and the lives of all involved.

The building in the background is the Rotunda. The demonstrators are north of the Rotunda. They are facing University Avenue and a statue of Thomas Jefferson.



That's Old Cabell Hall in the background on the left. The low buildings across the middle of the picture form the West Lawn.



This is the statue of Jefferson facing University Avenue. The building across the street is Madison Hall.
