The missile launch early Tuesday angered Japan and escalated tensions on the Korean peninsula.
In a statement early Tuesday, President Trump said, The world has received North Koreas latest message loud and clear: this regime has signaled its contempt for its neighbors, for all members of the United Nations, and for minimum standards of acceptable international behavior.
Threatening and destabilizing actions only increase the North Korean regimes isolation in the region and among all nations of the world. All options are on the table.

UPDATE:
Trump: All options are on the table following North Korea missile launch over Japan
By John Wagner August 29 at 8:02 AM
President Trump reiterated Tuesday that all options are on the table following North Koreas latest provocative missile launch, this one fired over Japan and into the Pacific Ocean.
The world has received North Koreas latest message loud and clear: this regime has signaled its contempt for its neighbors, for all members of the United Nations, and for minimum standards of acceptable international behavior, Trump said in a statement.
Threatening and destabilizing actions only increase the North Korean regimes isolation in the region and among all nations of the world, he president said. All options are on the table.
Despite the grave warning, Trumps statement was notably measured in contrast to his response to previous tests of ballistic missile launches by North Korea. After a recent spate, he promised fire and fury if the isolated nation continued to provoke the United States.
Trump also said earlier this month that he would make North Korean leader Kim Jong Un truly regret harming the United States or its allies.

They've either got him in a straitjacket or locked in a closet. Trump wouldn't say "All options on the table." He'd talk about how big our bombs are and how many North Koreans they'd kill.

(15,238 posts)No bellicose statements, no tests etc. just long enough for the delusional loud mouth to take credit for the interlude. You can play Trump so easily.
