AUSTIN — Chanting and waving signs with slogans such as “Rebuild Houston, Not a Wall” and “No Human is Illegal,” about 200 people lined Koenig Lane outside the Department of Public Safety’s operations center to protest President Donald Trump’s visit to flood-ravaged Texas on Tuesday.

The liberal group Indivisible organized the protest and cited Trump’s potential repeal of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program — which protects undocumented immigrants who entered the United States during childhood from deportation — and several other issues as reasons for the demonstration

“Trump’s anti-DACA rhetoric, the pardon of Joe Arpaio, the transgender military ban, this is why we’re out here,” said Austin musician Matt Oliver, 38. “Trump is only here for an expensive photo op.”

You might want to reconsider your company and loyalty to tRump or is supporters. Unless you're willing to accept the consequences when they come for you too.

I came into town with my sign ready to protest. Thought he as going to the Delco center, not there was so went downtown to the convention center. No activity, I think this was kept as secret as possible so many who wanted to protest. I couldn't find the creep.

although everyone is exhausted, shelters are full & very well managed!..the Mayor & Police chief are awesome-live on TV2, 24/7 these past few days. 440 high water locations remain. 80% of flooded homes have NO insurance at all.

extreme rain storms still very active just to Houston's east

Here's the current NOAA (our government) radar I use.
