no one on our side should look for allies within the ranks of ICE. Those people have dedicated their lives to kicking people out of the country, breaking up families. That's their business, and business is booming.

What our side needs to do is craft a message that will resonate with the American people. We get need to get our people elected into office, and remove power from ICE. We need another Obama. A strong, good leader. Someone that tells the truth in the same way that Trump lies. We need the Anti-Trump.

He's a great person. Very likable. Smart as hell. I think he's got the best chance of making Chump a one term president.

How can anyone who cares at all about people take part in this sort of thing... "legal" or not! "Just doing my job" is no excuse for ripping apart families. They will share in the shame if they participate in this nazi-style round-up of people.

I hope that everyone in this country will literally stand between ICE and the innocent people who did nothing wrong. At the DACA rally I attended on Tues. we all pledged to do that and I will and so will my teacher friends in San Diego.

I was listening to Arlo Guthrie singing his Dad's song, "Deportee" (Plane Wreck at Los Gatos) today. The first time in a looooong time. Great song. Just as meaningful today as it was when Woody wrote it in 1948. And not a damned thing has changed in the 70 years since Woody wrote it either.
