Trump: 'One of the greatest terms I've come up with is 'fake''
Source: The Hill
In a new interview, President Trump praised his use of the word fake," saying he thinks its one of the greatest terms hes used.
I think one of the greatest of all terms Ive come up with is fake,' Trump said in an interview with TBN host and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R). I guess other people have used it, perhaps over the years, but Ive never noticed it.
Trump has often used the term in reference to the media and news coverage throughout his campaign and presidency.
Trumps remarks came as he defended his administration from criticism following the response to the crisis in Puerto Rico. He said the media coverage of the trip was unfair. Pointing to a specific example, he defended tossing paper towels into a crowd at a church during the visit. They had these beautiful, soft towels, very good towels. And I came in and there was a crowd of a lot of people, and they were screaming and they were loving everything, Trump said. I was having fun, they were having fun.

(2,191 posts)He doesn't seem to have reading comprehension beyond a sixth or seventh grader. Words, terms, and concepts that are familiar to most adults are utterly foreign to him, and so he thinks they're new.
The ceaseless need he has to feel important, to feel that he's smart and capable, actually makes me kind of sad. He must have a gaping hole inside him that can never be filled.

Trump is of German stock.
So is the Scots language.
They understood Trump long before he was here.

(13,436 posts)As with all things Trump, "fake news" is nothing new, just a continuation of GOP politics. "Fake News" is just an evolution of the GOP's "Liberal Media" talking point, meant to discredit any news that undercuts their mythology.
