Game 4 of the National League Division Series between the Chicago Cubs and Washington Nationals at Wrigley Field was postponed by rain, and will be played at 4:08 ET on Wednesday, Major League Baseball announced.
The decision will have significant ramifications regarding the Nationals' chances of forcing a Game 5.

(3,194 posts)The additional day of rest will allow Stephen Strausburg, Washington's #1 Starter, to replace Tanner Roark as starting pitcher. They had been planning on using him if Game 5 had been necessary, but now Roark will fill that role.
