FBI: 12 Michigan juvenile trafficking victims rescued, 8 pimps arrested

Twelve juvenile Michigan sex trafficking victims were rescued and eight pimps and their associates arrested last week as part of an annual, international hunt for abusers led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

In all, 84 minors were rescued and 120 traffickers arrested during the FBI's 11th Operation Cross Country.

The initiative took place Oct. 12-14 in Michigan, officials said.

Nationally, the youngest victim recovered was 3 months old. The average age was 15.

Did a lot of victims of trafficking refuse rescue or ???

At least for long enough to keep the industry profitable? How come it isn't effectively dead as an industry?
