Who Is Robert Knepper? 'Prison Break' Actor Accused of Sexually Assaulting Costume Designer and Inju

Source: Newsweek

Actor Robert Knepper has denied sexually assaulting a costume designer on the set of a 1992 film.

Knepper is best known for playing villain Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell in the drama series Prison Break. He has also appeared in other series including Heroes, iZombie and was just recently seen in the Twin Peaks revival.

Veteran costume designer Susan Bertram told The Hollywood Reporter Wednesday that Knepper, 58, accosted her while filming Gas Food Lodging in 1991. Bertram alleges that she went into Knepper’s trailer to give him some clothes. When she entered the trailer, Knepper “jumped up” and grabbed her genitals “as hard as he could.”

The costume designer further alleges Knepper pushed her against a wall and said, “I’m going to fuck your brains out.”

Sad. He was great in Prison Break. Please don't tell me Brian Cox is really a child molester as he played in L.I.E. I always thought that was a brave role for him to.play.

playing really intense and criminal roles?

I remember reading about Heath Ledger playing The Joker, and how he immersed himself in psychopathy. His family denied that the role had anything to do with his death, though.

to impersonate 45. Jonathan Winters, who had his own mental health issues, frequently found it difficult not to over identify with some of his characters. You may have a point, Ilsa.

And play, say, a serial killer.

Yes, yes, actors, especially working actors, are a privileged lot. They get to be paid to do what they love best. And it doesn't involve hard labor, and its unionized. But I imagine it is quite taxing mentally at times to "be" a murderer, or a child molester, for months at a time.

and sometimes doing repugnant things.

I remember hearing that Steven Spielberg had really sweet talk Kate Capshaw (before they became a couple) into putting her hand into the area of cracked rock where real bugs, roaches, etc, were crawling all over her arm in the movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
