Poll: Most voters say Trump respects men more than women

Source: The Hill

BY MAX GREENWOOD - 11/21/17 01:43 PM EST

A majority of U.S. voters says President Trump respects men more than women, according to a Quinnipiac University poll out Tuesday.

Fifty-nine percent of respondents said they think the president does not respect women as much as he does men, compared to 34 percent who said otherwise.

GOP voters, however, do not see a discrepancy between Trump's respect for men and women. According to the poll, 66 percent of respondents who identify as Republicans said the president respects women just as much as he respects men. Only 27 percent said that's not the case. White men are divided on the issue, with 47 percent saying he does not respect women as much as men, and 47 percent saying he does.

Trump's approval rating, while still low, ticked upward, pollsters also found. Thirty-eight percent of American voters now approve of the job he is doing in the White House, while 55 percent disapprove.

BY JULIA MANCHESTER - 11/21/17 01:45 PM EST

A majority of U.S. female voters say they have experienced sexual harassment, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll.

Sixty percent of women surveyed said they had experienced sexual harassment, while 39 percent said they had not, according to the survey.

The poll also found that 69 percent of female voters had experienced sexual harassment in the workplace, and 43 percent said they had experienced it in a social setting.

The poll comes as numerous women across the U.S. have come forward to accuse high-powered men in a variety of professions of sexual misconduct.

I would say instead that he disrespects women more than he disrespects men. DavidDvorkin Nov 2017 #1

who don't think Trump respects women less than men? They certainly haven't been paying attention. Anyone with more than one functioning brain cell should see that. I guess it's because they don't want to see the truth about the Orange Shit Cannon, that's the only answer I can come up with.
