Alabama Republican Senate nominee Roy Moore on Monday released a new television ad aimed at discrediting the recent allegations against him as a "scheme by liberal elites and the Republican establishment" to keep him out of the Senate.

The advertisement's message aligns with one of the campaign's main attacks on the timing of the accusations.
"Five state campaigns, 40 years of honorable service. Roy Moore has been intensely scrutinized, and not a hint of scandal," the ad's narrator says, as pictures of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) grace the screen.
"But, four weeks before the election. False allegations a scheme by liberal elites and the Republican establishment to protect their big government trough."

(14,175 posts)They are ,by all accounts, usually the richest, most privileged segment of society. Roy Moore will, if elected, march into Washington and vote alongside those "Republican establishment" peers to gouge the treasury for tax cuts to those conservative elites.
Can that pack of deplorable morans still be fooled by someone purporting to be against the other Republicans AND Democrats? That he's going to go full maverick? Didn't they already learn from Trump? Because he promised the same thing but now is a Republican establishment wet dream. That question is sadly rhetorical.
