3 women who have accused President Trump of sexual misconduct speak out
Source: Today/NBC
Three of the women accusing him of sexual misconduct appeared Monday on Megyn Kelly TODAY to share their experiences with Trump.
"It was heartbreaking last year. We're private citizens and for us to put ourselves out there to try and show America who this man is and how he views women, and for them to say 'Eh, we don't care,' it hurt," said Samantha Holvey, who claims Trump would walk into dressing rooms during the Miss America pageant in 2006, the year she competed in the contest.
Holvey said the first time Trump came backstage, she thought he was there for a meet and greet with all the contestants.
It was not. It was hi, just looking me over like I was just a piece of meat. I was not a human being. I didnt have a brain, I didnt have a personality, she said. I was just simply there for his pleasure. It left me feeling gross, very dirty. She said he came back again during the final round.

That article has several video clips, each several minutes long.
Jessica Leeds, who was groped by Trump on a plane in the 1970s, revealed that Trump called her a "c*nt" when he encountered her again a few years later at a work-related gala.
The White House statement responding to the accusers was issued during the show and is included here.

(59,504 posts)I am not going to spend the time looking for quotes, but the accusations against Trump were well covered and many Clinton surrogates spoke against him on this. The fact is that many Republicans knew of these accusations, probably believed them, and FOR POLITICAL REASONS - including a Supreme Court Justice to vote their way on abortion.
Trump's statement that winning the election somehow means he is exonerated on this is completely ridiculous. Even if polls showed that more than half the people in the country think that Trump was a perfect gentleman over his entire life, that does NOT mean that he is "exonerated" on this. Truth is NOT like Family Feud (a show I hated ) where the "correct" answer is the one the majority of people in the room gave.
Oddly, the best response to that is that it also means that Bill Clinton is exonerated too - as many accusations against him were out in public when he was reelected and some were there even in 1992. Yet, that did not stop the Republicans from impeaching him and voting in the Senate to remove him -- because he lied under oath about a consensual inappropriate relationship.
In fact, Trump's WH might consider that they can issue all the statements they want, but one thing that will always be part of his history is that he himself is on tape (both Access Hollywood and Howard Stern) doing EXACTLY what these women accused him of. That and his probable (hopefully soon to be proven by Mueller) campaign's involvement with Russia and/or Wikileaks will forever be part of his story.
