BREAKING: Congressman Farenthold calls it quits

Source: KVCT-TV

Congressman Blake Farenthold will withdraw from the race but is expected to finish his term. Newscenter 25 is working to get more details from the Farenthold camp. You may remember the Congressman spoke to constituents via Skype on Wednesday saying, "I just want to let everyone know, I absolutely did not engage in any improper conduct. I was investigated by the office of congressional ethics, and they found 6-0, there wasn't enough effort ," said Farenthold.

A former senior aide to Rep. Blake Farenthold has approached the House Ethics Committee to share a damning account of working for the Texas Republican, with the intent of describing the congressman as verbally abusive and sexually demeaning.

Rep. Farenthold started his term on Jan. 3, 2011. He is from Corpus Christi and graduated from the University of Texas and St. Mary's Law School.

His term ends January 20, 2019.

How when we go HIGH, they go even lower...and often that means they WIN. (Not to imply that firing an innocent scapegoat is going high, but I'm sure that's what some of them thought.)

to keep him out of court. For that favor he gets to vacate his seat now and face his future accusers out of his own pocket.

then what was the $84,000 for? Sounds like we need an ethics committee to investigate the ethics committee.

His gross fashion choice is baby blue, with yellow duckies....

I would hope that he would resign, but since he obviously lacks a sense of shame, I won't hold my breath. His gerrymandered district will remain in Republican hands regardless, but Farthold will hold on as long as he can.

At a U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee hearing, Collins was overheard saying on a hot mic, "Did you see the one who challenged me to a duel?"

A male voice, whom The Hill newspaper identified as U.S. Sen. Jack Reed, responded: "Trust me, you know why he challenged you to a duel? Because you could beat the shit out of him."

According to the recording, Collins responded, "He's so unattractive, it's unbelievable ... Did you see the picture of him in his pajamas next to this bunny?"

"If a tape came out with Donald Trump saying ... 'I really like to rape women,' you would continue to endorse him?" the MSNBC anchor asked? "That would be bad. I would have to consider it," U.S. Rep. Blake Farenthold said.

I watched a report this morning regarding the male former staff member's testimony regarding Farenthold's treatment of staffers. Farenthold readily admitted to calling staffers "fu**tards" and "idiots", and said it was a joke.

Farenthold commented to the male former staff member upon his (the staffer's) approaching marriage that he'd better get his girlfriend to have oral sex before marriage because she wouldn't ever do that after they were married.

This man (Farenthold) is vile and has no business being in any position of power.
