Scott Walker: Ryan is 'not going anywhere'

Source: The Hill

BY JOSH DELK - 12/14/17 08:07 PM EST

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) said Thursday House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) is "not going anywhere" following reports that he was considering retirement.

Walker tweeted that he reached out to Ryan and asked him about the reports.

"Just checked in with my friend @PRyan. He’s not going anywhere," tweeted Walker, a longtime friend of Ryan's.

Politico reported Thursday that people close to Ryan said the speaker's current term would be his last, citing a desire to spend more time with his family. Ryan denied the report publicly on Thursday.

"My values are my neighbors' values, and we know that Washington has gotten way off track. Whether it's healthcare or jobs, national security or education, our democracy or the environment – there's not one issue where Paul Ryan and Donald Trump are headed in the right direction. It's time for a change in Congress .".

I bet Ryan exists after the ta plan passes so he won't be front and center when the economy collapses,
which is a feature, not a bug of the Plan.

Thom Hartman just had the misfortune to be right a little too soon.
His 'crash of 2016' will turn into crash of 2019.
