Trump insists his Russia actions were '100 percent proper,' pledges 'bipartisan' plans for 2018

Source: Politico

The president holds a press conference with GOP leaders at Camp David.

By ANDREW RESTUCCIA, RACHAEL BADE and SEUNG MIN KIM 01/06/2018 12:35 PM EST Updated 01/06/2018 02:16 PM EST

President Donald Trump again denied on Saturday that his 2016 campaign colluded with Russia and dismissed claims he obstructed justice by trying to prevent the recusal of Attorney General Jeff Sessions from a Justice Department probe into Russian election meddling.

“Everything I’ve done is 100 percent proper,” Trump said during a press conference on the sidelines of a meeting with congressional leaders at Camp David. “That is what I do, is I do things proper." He added later, “Just so you understand, there’s been no collusion, there’s been no crime.”

The president took questions from reporters for about 10 minutes on issues ranging from the GOP’s 2018 legislative agenda to North Korea to an explosive new book that alleges concern among White House aides about his mental condition.

“I consider it a work of fiction,” Trump said, complaining about what he called the country’s weak libel laws.

He said the story is off, but did not explain why it is inaccurate.

Trump: Im not under investigation, but maybe Hillary is

BY JULIA MANCHESTER - 01/06/18 12:52 PM EST

President Trump said on Saturday he was not under investigation, but added that his former political opponent Hillary Clinton could be amid reports the FBI is probing the Clinton Foundation.

"Just so you understand, there's been no collusion. There's been no crime. And in theory, everybody tells me I'm not under investigation. Maybe Hillary is, I don't know, but I'm not," the president said addressing reporters at Camp David.

The president also claimed there was collusion between Clinton, the DNC, and the Russians.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has continued to probe the president and those around him as apart of the federal investigation into alleged ties between the Trump campaign and Russian election meddling.
Various Republicans and the president have called Mueller's probe politically motivated and a "witch hunt" and have called for an investigation into Clinton.

the more you are guilty of what you are denying.

We have to get it through our heads that all Trump does is project his failings and guilt onto others. IT IS THEIR FAULT!

Robert Mueller is listening and paying attention.

Obama to release his college transcripts?

Trump called on Obama to release his college applications, transcripts and other records, asking how such a “terrible student” got into Ivy League schools.

know, like, always , so perfect.

My hands are the biggest ever and my hair is so real it moos and my brain is so large that Einstein himself came to me for advice. I give good advice. Great advice. I told him, Albie, relatives are not theory. You're either related or you're not. Now look at him - he's famous! And all because of me.

Just the other day, I was saying to Frederick Douglass, my really good friend - in case you didn't know. Good friend. Best friends. Go way back. I told him, I did for Albie what I did for you - introduced you both to the world. Now look - both famous! Almost as famous as me.

that ooze out of Trump's Facial Orifice. Second part of this post tells us,Trump,Grassley,Grahman, and Ryan as well as McConnell have gone all in with a Narrative of,Hillary is corrupt and needs to be punished via the Court System. Never forget,Hillary worked as a Prosecution Attorney on Watergate for a time, and the GOP leadership as well as certain Funders, have said this,"you took one of ours, and now we will take one of yours". Secondly,Trump has convinced the DOJ to bury Obama one way or another in order to disgrace Obama and put the chilling effect of any Brown Skinned Person seeking the US presidency. This gives happy pills to the White Nationalist and the Fundie Crowd.

This time around it not only involves a foreign enemy but we have a GOP Congress who puts party and $$$$ over country and is colluding with the Moron by obstructing the ongoing investigations within both chambers as well as the FBI investigation. There are no patriots in the GOP anymore. The ones who did support the investigations a few months ago have all flipped (Grassely, Graham, etc).
