Trump Administration Faces Lawsuit Over Kentucky Medicaid Work Requirements

Advocacy groups sued the Trump administration Wednesday to block work requirements and other changes to Kentucky’s Medicaid program, setting up a legal battle that could help define the limits of the conservative push to revamp the program in about a dozen states.

The lawsuit, filed in federal district court in Washington, D.C., seeks class-action status on behalf of 15 plaintiffs who assert that the changes, approved by the Trump administration, are illegal and go beyond the administration’s authority.

Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin, a Republican, pushed the Medicaid changes in his state. He also has issued an executive order saying that Kentucky’s expansion of Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act would end if courts strike down any of the changes. About 400,000 Kentuckians received coverage under the expansion.

Medicaid, the health program for the poor and disabled, has become the fiercest battleground between the political parties as Republican seek to put a conservative stamp on health care.........................

And the downside is that if these requirements are struck down, the state is going to withdraw from the Medicaid expansion under the ACA, the governor is saying.

The pukes of course just want to get rid of healthcare for poor people, by any means. After all, that's what the kook brothers and their cabal want--the peasantry dying like dogs in the street, with no healthcare.

Oh, and bevin is a dick. Shame on Kentucky for electing him and wrecking their Kynect ACA system, which was a great success. So, of course, the pukes are dismantling it. When will people wake up???????
