Afghanistan conflict: Deadly attack on Kabul military base

Militants have attacked an army base near a military academy in the Afghan capital, Kabul, killing at least 11 soldiers.

Sixteen other Afghan soldiers were injured, a defence ministry spokesman told the BBC.

Five militants were involved, said the spokesman. Four were killed in the attack but one was arrested.

The attack has been claimed by the Islamic State (IS), according to the militant group's Amaq news agency.

Trump is, among other things, a reckless braggart. But he didn't cause ISIS, and he is not responsible for the attacks they carry out. And neither was Obama, regardless of what Fox News tries to say.

This is all on George W. Bush, who was a hellish combination of incompetent and criminal. His war crime of invading Iraq set the whole region on fire.

Blame is not going to solve problems...

We all know the George Bush story - (or maybe we dont?!) - but here we are with another Republican president - sending more troops to Afghanistan...

And we cut him slack...?

This is not a good issue for Trump...lets not give him a pass!
