White House: We didn't have anything to do withe McCabe decision

Source: The Hill

BY JORDAN FABIAN - 01/29/18 02:04 PM EST

The White House said Monday that President Trump had nothing to do with Andrew McCabe's decision to exit as deputy FBI director.

"The president wasn’t a part of this decision-making process," White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters. She referred questions to the FBI, which she said would be putting out a statement.

McCabe had come under withering criticism from Trump for what he said was his role in politicizing the top levels of the FBI.

Asked about Trump's criticism, Sanders said. “the president stands by his previous comments.”

For once I believe it... based on the news reporting that he had accumulated leave. He won't lose retirement benefits. I'd leave too considering.

Hearing and reading more about it I completely retract what I said. I only heard a simple explanation about him getting out of there with leave built up and thought I would do the same in that WH. Obviously this is not the case based on additional reports.

based on the bullshit heat Trump and his minions put on him and the department? I mean isn't that why he is retiring early or are they saying this is another move to force him out even earlier regardless of accumulated leave?

You may not know the answers but I'm just putting it out there incase you heard something more about it. I'll google as well.
