President Trump's eldest son Donald Trump Jr. said on Saturday that the release of the GOP memo alledging surveillance at the Department of Justice (DOJ) serves as revenge for him and his family by holding FBI officials accountable.
"There is a little bit of sweet revenge in it for me and certainly probably the family in a sense that if they wouldn't have done this, this stuff would be going on. This would be going on at the highest levels of government," Trump Jr. said on the Fox News Channel referring to the allegations in the memo. "They'd be continuing doing it to my father, trying to undermine his actions."
Trump Jr. went on to say he wanted the probe into alleged ties between the Trump campaign and Russian election meddling to come to an end soon.
"Come to a conclusion already because you've been looking for two years, you've come up with nothing other than their own nefarious actions and their own collusions," he said.

(38,445 posts)the good guys are advancing on him and his family..and the whole clan had better take refuge in their .."bunker" but as we all know that the bunker didn't do Hitler any good, and, it will not do Trump and his family any good. The good guys are advancing too fast. Maybe they should all flee to ...???...oh I know...Russia.....

(14,176 posts)So he's saying what? That the memo, and its insinuated charges of bias, somehow can be attributed to back when Obama was President? Like when Obama asked for an extension of the George W Bush's appointed Republican registered FBI Director Mueller? Or when he appointed another Republican in James Comey to replace him? This was a scandal because.....years later, after Obama left office, these two Republicans (forgetting for a moment the email alert by Comey) refuse to lick Trumps boots and insist on the integrity of the FBI and doing their job?
And what does that say about your father? If you have to scratch to find even one 'alleged' scandal during Obama's whole term, when your father has one every other day? Hardly something to brag about.

(12,592 posts)Also, Mueller was appointed less than a year ago, so his statement that they -- which is whoever his family regards as "the enemy" -- have been "looking for two years" is false, proving he's just as big a liar as his father.
Like father, like son.
Don't worry, little Donnie Scoop and a Half, Mueller's got his sights set on the Trump Tower meeting with the Russians. You'll soon have a chance to find out just how real this investigation is. Can you say "indictment"?

A lot of them are attorneys.
Dumfs followers are information deprived and believe anything, but the rank and file at the FBI will go to the mat defending the agency, including their leadership.

Trump doesn't understand or care that he will be judged by history as one of the worst presidents of all time if he is lucky enough to not end up in impeached anyway. There are hoards of young people that already know this and they won't forget.

(81,872 posts)He doesn't understand that he is completely at a disadvantage. The FBI has nothing but time to come down on him and his crime family. Trump fails to understand the same thing. There is no escaping justice in this case. Given enough time, the law will catch up to him. The distractions will never change that.

That's about it if you don't count the formerly evil executive orders deregulating clean water, clean air, pristine habitats, workplace safety, access to healthcare, etc., etc., etc. Stolen Supreme Court seat, money to billionaires. That's the list of "accomplishments." May Junior be eaten by the next lion he tries to shoot.
