Trump attacks Democrats on infrastructure deal then begs them to make a deal

Source: RawStory

President Donald Trump was up tweeting before 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning with a series of accusations he’s hurling at Democrats.

After announcing his infrastructure plan, and just weeks after touting bipartisan cooperation in his state of the union address, Trump blasted Democrats for not passing his plan on the day it was announced.

He then followed the tweet with another one about the agreement on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) for DREAMers.

The plan for DACA is drawing criticism from the far-right because Democrats don’t want to fund Trump’s “big beautiful wall” while the GOP doesn’t want to pass anything that looks like amnesty for immigrants.

He's a pathological liar and complete idiot about government service.

He's the perfect GOP politician.

The DACA deadline is one that Trump created artificially. It seems its main purpose is to use the DACA kids as a bargaining chip in other negotiatons. SAD!

In addition to just having come out, the infrastructure bill is so complex it will take all sides a while to sort things out. From what I read, on its face it heavily punishes Blue states that voted for Hillary, transferring funds from them to Red states that voted for Trump. SAD!

I don't know where he's getting his information on the military. Oh, that's right -- where he gets all his information, Fox News. Our military is still more powerful than the next 10 countries combined. Increasing the stockpile of nuclear weapons goes against nearly 40 years of efforts of the U.S. and Russia (then the USSR) to reduce its number. (I imagine Trump will want to return to atmospheric testing of nuclear weapons, under the guise of "Letting the rest of the world see our military might." Plus it's pretty.) Providing even more money than the military has requested is insane, especially since their wish list is usually padded with everything they can imagine. Trump wouldn't know that because he has absolutely no experience with government and the military. SAD!

The military parade -- bigger and better than any in the history of the world -- that Trump wants for the sole purpose of feeding his huge ego has about an 81% disapproval rate. It will cost millions of dollars and weeks of preparation time which could be better used for actual training. SAD!

The Dow is at $24,485, after a near-vertical drop from its high of $26,616 three weeks ago. Trump hasn't addressed this precipitous loss in market value, or done anything to attempt calm investors. SAD!

He still thinks Nazis are good people, women who are abused are liars, child molesters deserved to be Senators, (black) NFL players who don't stand for the National Anthem are sons of a bitch (even though he himself doesn't know the words, see below), and anybody who doesn't applaud his every utterance is a traitor. SAD!

Puerto Rico is still in a bad way. A no-bid contract to restore power for all of the island was awarded to a two-person company, while another contract for 5 million meals was awarded to a one-person operation which totally failed (duh!). Even with all the continuing serious problems on the island, FEMA said it was pulling its support for the island and would have done so had there not been a hue and cry across the nation and on both sides of the aisle. SAD!

The cost of the Wall and the Trump Tax Cuts for corporations and the very wealthy is going to result in cuts to Medicare, Medicare and food stamps. SAD!

Robert Mueller is still plugging along. GLAD!

Trump doesn't know the words to the National Anthem. SAD!

Second, you are not going to cut, and gut, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, to pay for roads, we are coming and the wave is going to happen this November 2018, ............................traitor, and we are coming

Third, the taxpayers have already paid for interstate highway and other infrastructure projects, and I really don't think even with your traitorous collaborators in the Senate and the house, namely one Paul "ayn rand" Ryan, are going to make people pay for a entering the building fee "JAR" or "Plastic Container: or a Black or Green Kettle at the front door, with some yahoo ringing a bell, lets say at Washington National Airport, Dulles, or Baltimore -Washington buildings for example to fly, if you try to privatize the commons that were already paid for with a tax, and then you come up with this new "EXCISE TAX" that you are propagating to in rich asshole hedge fund mangers on Wall Street and Sovereign Wealth funds from foreign governments in your wet dreams, that you have every night, it is not going to happen................. .

And fourth, what say your corrupt expenditures, that the public is at the present time paying for?
Because, if , not when you get indicted, and your family gets indicted, and your cabinet of thief's get indicted I want my money back, because this is just from a 1/16/2018 article, so again FUCK YOU

And I think it is appropriate to say to a malignant narcissist sexual predator, which describes you perfectly, that in closing because of the fucking corruption that you are incurring on the taxpayers, your bunch of assholes should pay for the infrastructure, with your government waste, starting with your plane trips to that fucked up estate in West Palm Beach, that you call a resort...................

The Cost of Corruption: Waste and Abuse in President Trump’s Cabinet

Since taking office less than a year ago, President Donald Trump has created the most corrupt administration in modern American history. He has used his position to enrich himself and his family, filled his administration with former industry lobbyists, and sought to prevent an investigation into his shady business practices. The American people have noticed. Not only do most Americans believe President Trump has broken his promise to combat corruption, they also view the Trump administration as the most corrupt government institution in the United States.

The corruption is broader than just the President and his family. President Trump has assembled the wealthiest and least experienced Cabinet in recent memory. Unsurprisingly, the president’s senior leadership has taken cues from their boss: While arguing for devastating cuts to services that millions of Americans depend on, several Cabinet members have engaged in extravagant—and at times legally questionable—spending on themselves at the taxpayer’s expense. Public service requires a respect for and responsible stewardship of public resources. But, based on public information to date, the Cabinet has spent nearly $2 million on questionable flights and private office upgrades. For scale, these expenditures are more than 33 times what the average American family earned in 2016.

Without Democratic support, the Trump infrastructure bill won't pass the House. The Dems should tell Republicans to go piss up a rope and sit this one out. It will collapse just like that AHCA did.

9. I don't understand why ANYONE likes Trump's infrastructure plan
Tue Feb 13, 2018, 05:46 PM

I know Donald, Jared and Ivanka like it. They should because they created it, but let's leave them out of this.

The biggest problem with the plan is, in order to get $1 in federal funding you must prove you have $6.50 in state, local or private-sector funding. At which point you really have to ask yourself if you wouldn't be better off blowing off Trump road construction money and funding entire projects with state tax revenues...especially since it'll cost about as much to apply for Trump's money as he wants to give your project.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, the guy who invented this particular investment plan worked a combined 186 months in three different license plate factories before he got mailed back to Italy.

The solution to this problem is for the Democrats to create a real infrastructure plan that includes the tax increases necessary to pay for the work (asphalt is not free), get bipartisan support for it, and drop it on Trump's desk.
