Dems flip seat in Florida state special election

Democrats won a special state House election in Florida Tuesday night, picking up a seat previously held by an incumbent in a district President Trump won in the 2016 presidential election.
Margaret Good, the Democratic candidate, won the District 72 special election with 52.17 percent of the vote, according to unofficial results from the Florida Department of State. Her Republican opponent, James Vernon Buchanan, won 44.8 percent of the vote.
Trump won the district 51-46 over Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential race.
The seat became empty following the resignation of former state Rep. Alexandra Miller (R).

We are on a roll but let's not get overly confident! We have allot of the same old, same old obstacles. We must all volunteer and donate in small sums until the midterms, and beyond. RESIST!
