Former Miami Dolphins player Jonathan Martin was detained by police Friday after a social media post from the athlete reportedly led to a school's closing, according to multiple news reports.
The Los Angeles Police Department told ABC News in a statement that Martin was detained and questioned after an Instagram post on Martin's account tagged his former high school and two former teammates, Richie Incognito and Mike Pouncey, ABC News reported.
"When you're a bully victim & a coward, your options are suicide, or revenge," the photo's caption reads over an image of a shotgun and ammunition.
The Associated Press reported Friday that the school, the private Harvard-Westlake prep school in Los Angeles, was evacuated Friday following the post.
