Lewandowski visited White House ahead of Trump's CPAC speech: report

Corey Lewandowski, President Trump's first campaign manager, paid a visit to the president at the White House ahead of Trump's speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

Axios reported the visit on Saturday. White House chief of staff John Kelly was also present at the Oval Office meeting.

Kelly and Lewandowski have starkly different management styles. The chief of staff has sought to instill order in an often chaotic White House, while Lewandowski has encouraged Trump's freewheeling style.

Lewandowski has also criticized Kelly for his handling of the scandal surrounding former White House staff secretary Rob Porter, who resigned earlier this month after allegations of domestic abuse surfaced against him.
