Austin bombings: Police respond to report of new explosion

Austin authorities say they are responding to another report of an explosion Tuesday night in Texas that has left at least one person injured, according to Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS). The Austin area has been hit by a string of bombings since March 2 that has killed two people and wounded four others seriously.

My eldest went to a daycare about 100 yards from this latest one.

This is very, very sad. I hope they catch this person soon.

at the Goodwill store down there, possibly in the donations bin. I've shopped there. I'll drive by there tomorrow and take some pictures if I can.
They need to catch this bastard soon. This is 3 miles from my home.

but an incendiary device. Still pisses me off that this is happening.

But the question is: Is the regular bomber changing his methods to throw off investigators? Or is this a second bomber? Both possibilities are scary.

APD said they had no reasons to think it was related. There is probably some evidence suggesting otherwise which they are not sharing.

That said, it's horribly frustrating seeing this happen.
