LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky's Republican governor has won an initial round in his court fight over whether he violated free-speech rights by blocking people from his Facebook and Twitter accounts.

U.S. District Judge Gregory Van Tatenhove denied plaintiffs' request for a preliminary injunction to prevent Gov. Matt Bevin from blocking anyone from his social media accounts.

The case is part of an emerging national debate about whether elected officials infringe on First Amendment rights in doing so. Bevin is a frequent user of Twitter and Facebook.

EVERYONE in his state who wants to access that s.o.b. through social media should have that right! If the governor is using Twitter as his platform for communicating policy then he MUST allow his constituents equal access to that platform.

Another cowardly Republican who wants to hide behind a firewall while he takes pot shots at every citizen of the State of Kentucky.

God-damn I hate these cowardly pieces of shit!

they don't think Trump should be allowed to ignore people on his Twitter account since he is the "president", and he does use his Twitter account for policy announcements etc. This hasn't been argued in court, of course, but they seemed to feel he wouldn't legally be able to .
