Poll: Obama Earns High Approval Ratings From Latinos

Source: TPM

President Barack Obama maintains a considerable lead over Mitt Romney among Latino voters, according to a new poll released Wednesday by NBC News, the Wall Street Journal and Telemundo.

The poll shows Obama leading Romney among registered Latino voters nationwide, 63 percent to 28 percent. Obama earns high marks from Latino voters for his job handling the economy and foreign policy, with approval ratings of 59 percent and 58 percent on each respective issue. Sixty-two percent of Latino voters approve of Obama's job performance overall, compared with only 32 percent who disapprove.

The poll suggests that Romney may have his work cut out for him if he is to reach the benchmark set by his campaign. A campaign aide told The Hill that the Republican ticket is vying to claim 38 percent of the Latino vote this November. That's seven percentage points higher than Sen. John McCain's (R-Ariz.) share of the Latino vote in 2008 and just a notch below the 40 percent mark attained by former President George W. Bush in 2004.

in trying to vote. Its a shame that the GOP party of hate are suppressing their votes all in the name of their GAWD - money. But alas, I truly think it will a landslide for Pres O & VP Biden, then we will have to endure more spouting of total disregard for the American citizens. Pres O also have the Jewish vote and I believe the Asian vote except for the India vote. Native Indians vote, women vote and a sizable amount of White votes.

Then you controlling some states total GOP legislation who will try their best to steal it all in the name of their GAWD.

A message for Texas Hispanics: If you give President Obama high marks, or even if you only give President Obama higher marks than you do Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, and Rick Perry, please show your appreciation and check your voter registration. If you don't have a voter registration card, please get one.

The voter registration deadline in Texas is October 9th, 2012. If you are a US citizen and Texas resident, you must be registered to vote in Texas before the deadline in order to vote in the 2012 general election.

If you're a Texas Hispanic and truly want to show your appreciation for President Obama (Or to express your disapproval of Rick Perry and Mitt Romney), please vote in the 2012 general elections. Election day is November 6th, but you can vote early a week or so before then.

Your vote counts. And remember, if you don't vote and a Tea Party Texas voter does, his politicans win and you lose.
